Let’s transform the world into a vibrant celebration of inclusivity and pride during WorldPride 2025 and for all Prides worldwide. Whether you’re a resident, business, or organization, we invite YOU to decorate your most public-facing spaces, such as building fronts, patios, balconies, and yards, to show your Pride! Make it as colorful as you can!
This year’s theme is “The Fabric of Freedom”—a celebration of the threads that unite us all. How will you bring this powerful theme to life? Whether it’s bold decorations, vibrant events, or creative displays, we can’t wait to see your unique touch.

Are you ready to share your Pride with the world? Whether you’re decorating your porch, door, window, yard, office, or business, the options are limitless! Registration is free. By registering, your creation will be featured on our interactive community map, indicating the locations and descriptions of each installation.
Support by Fundraising
Become a Pride Supporter today! Would you like to help spread Pride in your community while also supporting local LGBTQ+ charities? Simply create a personal or team fundraising page and with every $100 raised you will be eligible for exciting prize drawings! Prizes include Freedom Passes, VIP Experience to the Street Festival and Concert, free registration to participate in the Parade or Festival, promotions on Capital Pride/WorldPride DC social media, dedicated e-blasts, and more.
Decorating Tips + Business Kits
- Get things started with official WorldPride merchandise and business kits.
- We encourage you to decorate your most public facing space. Common examples include yards, patios, porches, balconies, yards, entranceways, and windows.
- You’re encouraged to include at least one of each color of the progressive rainbow in your display (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, black, brown, light blue, white, and pink).
- Displays should refrain from displaying profanity, violence, or affiliation to a candidate or political party.
- Consider including lights for nighttime displays!
- Remember to have fun!

Self-Guided Tours
During the month of May and June, you are invited to enjoy a self-guided tour of the participating Paint the World with Pride installations. Each registered entry will be featured on the interactive Paint the World map, so that you can explore other creations in your specific neighborhood, ward, throughout the entire region, country, and the world!
