Empoderando Líderes is a marquee event that celebrates Latinx LGBTQ+ excellence in the workplace. It honors the achievements of Latinx LGBTQ+ professionals in leadership roles, showcasing how their unique identities and cultural heritage fuel their professional success. Our Annual ALPFA Pride+ Northeast Regional Connect serves as the next milestone for us in our growth journey. As the National ALPFA Pride+ Network expands and as ALPFA chapters in the Northeast begin to join our national network and launch local Pride+ Committees within their chapters, we couldn’t be more excited to continue an annual tradition of uniting Latine LGBTQ+ ALPFA members from local chapters throughout the US. In addition to our Official Calendar of events throughout the month of June, join our Northeast Region in Washington DC for our Official WorldPride DC programming starting at 3pm on Friday at the Edison Place Gallery for “Empoderando Líderes: Latine LGBTQ+ Excellence” roundtable discussion, a Keynote from the Vice President of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), followed by professional networking cocktail hour.
