Washington, DC 20009
Brought to you by Alliance for New Music-Theatre
During World Pride, We will present three Cabaret performances by Daniel Smith titled “Unmasked: Freedom in Full Color.” The first performance will be at the Arts Club of Washington on June 3, followed by two performances at Dupont Underground on June 6 and June 7. We are members of the Arts Club and partners with Dupont Underground and have the full support of both organizations to host these Cabaret events.
Daniel will take the lead in curating, performing, and, in some pieces, composing new material and writing narrative for the upcoming cabaret performances.
There will be two performances at Dupont Underground: one on Friday, June 6 at 7:30 pm and again on Saturday, June 7 at 8:00 pm.
To promote these performances, we are partnering with DC Theater Arts, DC’s most extensive online arts review publication, and GALA Theatre, DC’s premiere bi-lingual and multicultural organization to present the Gary Maker Audience Award in May to Jose Alberto Ucles and his husband Tom Noll as great supporters of arts across the city, and leading voices locally for World Pride.
