The Capital Pride Alliance and InterPride are excited for Washington, DC to host WorldPride 2025 and share this momentous and exciting occasion with our international community. 2025 also marks the 50th Anniversary of Pride celebrations in Washington, DC!
Washington, DC has been the site for historic marches, protests, and ground-breaking change for decades. WorldPride 2025 in DC will offer much needed visibility to the core issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community worldwide, including our basic human rights and freedoms.
WorldPride DC 2025 HIGHLIGHTS
Expected Attendance: 3 Million+ From Across the Nation And the World.
WorldPride DC will feature a vibrant and innovative slate of events and cultural programs that will highlight the best that Washington, DC metropolitan area has to offer. From music to film, from the National Mall to Embassy Row, you will experience the world through Washington’s multi-faceted and multi-cultural community. CELEBRATION EVENTS

- Neighborhood Block Parties: June 6 – 7, 2025

With 36 national and international LGBTQ+ organizations headquartered in our city and neighboring jurisdictions, we have a unique opportunity to foster important dialogue and inspire real action throughout the world.
- Human Rights Conference: June 4-6, 2025 (2,000-3,000 participants)

Beginning with Capital Pride 2024 and continuing through WorldPride 2025 and beyond, we are moving to an all application-based process. To ensure that all segments of the LGBTQ+ community have the opportunity to participate, we are prioritizing companies and organizations that are able to commit to a three-year partnership starting in 2024. For major opportunities, priority will be given to proposals received by December 1, 2023.
