The iconic Capital Pride Parade will transform into the iconic WorldPride Parade, emblematic of the historic Pride movement, on Saturday, June 7. This beloved tradition honors our history and acknowledges the evolution of the LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in Washington, DC, while respecting the origins and importance of taking to the streets in our fight for equality.

Celebrate WorldPride DC 2025 with two days of musical acts and performances! You will experience entertainment on multiple stages, from international headliners to our best local and regional LGBTQ+ talent.

Camp Pride Family Area

As part of WorldPride 2025Camp Pride is the ultimate kids’ zone—a fun-filled oasis where young campers can unleash their creativity, play, and celebrate in a vibrant, inclusive space.

Perfect for families, young adventurers, and kids of all ages, Camp Pride is a safe and joyful retreat where imagination and fun take center stage. Stop by for a little summer camp magic in the middle of the WorldPride celebrations!

What to Bring

Allowed Items:

  • Personal items such as sunscreen, water bottles, medications, and portable phone chargers.
  • STAY HYDRATED!

Prohibited Items:

  • Backpacks and large bags
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Drones and other aerial devices
  • Glass containers
  • Pets (except service animals) – We love the fur babies but there will be large crowds and the pavement can get hot!
  • Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards within the parade area
  • Illegal substances

Accessibility

Accessible Seating Location #1

  • Location: 14th & T Street NW (adjacent to Room & Board)
  • Admission: Entry is free, but registration is required for a wristband. Pre-registration has closed.
  • Accommodations: Folding chairs and space reserved for wheelchairs available on a first come first serve basis. ASL interpretation provided. Registration does not guarantee entry due to capacity.
  • Hours of Operation: Entry begins at 1PM. Area closes after conclusion of Parade.

Accessible Seating Location #2

  • Location: 1455 Pennsylvania Ave NW (south of Freedom Plaza)
  • Admission: Entry is free, but registration is required for a wristband.
  • Accommodations: Bleacher seating and space reserved for wheelchairs available on a first come first serve basis. Registration does not guarantee entry due to capacity.
  • Hours of Operation: Entry begins at 1PM. Area closes after conclusion of Parade.

Viewing Areas

The Grand Stand Bleachers will be located:

Must have a ticket that was pre-purchased. No tickets will be sold onsite!

Parade VIP Viewing Area will be located:
Franklin Park – West Lawn
1331 I Street NW, Washington, DC 20005

Transportation

Road Closures: Expect closures along the parade route and surrounding areas. Plan accordingly and check local traffic advisories.

Public Transit: Due to expected large crowds, public transportation is highly recommended. Metro lines and bus routes may experience increased ridership and potential delays.

  • Dupont, U Street, and McPherson Square are the closest to the route.

Rideshare & Biking: Designated drop-off and pick-up zones will be established. Bike-sharing stations may be in high demand; plan ahead.

Parade Route

Starting in the vibrant Logan Circle neighborhood and winding its way down 14th Street, the parade transforms Pennsylvania Avenue into a colorful corridor of joy, with the iconic U.S. Capitol as a stunning backdrop. Featuring ornate floats, grand marshals, and a vast array of groups representing the LGBTQ+ community.
