Eid al-Adha Celebration
June 7
Brought to you by QTAPI Pride Coalition/ AQUA DC
Celebrate Eid al-Adha with DC’s and our national queer Muslim community. Whether you’re here for the prayer, the food, or the radical joy of being seen, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
Eid al-Adha, or the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is a significant Islamic holiday commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice. Muslims around the world celebrate this day with prayers, communal gatherings, with family, friends, and those in need.
This isn’t your typical Eid gathering—it’s ours. A sacred, playful, affirming space where faith and queerness coexist without apology. Come feast, celebrate, and make memories in the spirit of WorldPride 2025! In partnership with Hidayah LGBTQ US and DC Queer Muslims.
