Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, and Hard of Hearing Queer Events
May 29 – June 8
We are planning a series of 12 possible events for WorldPride 2025, all designed to center and celebrate the Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, and Hard of Hearing LGBTQ+ communities. These events will provide safe, accessible, and inclusive spaces for social connection, education, and advocacy.
Just to name a few, our proposed events include:
ASL Drag Brunch – A vibrant celebration of Deaf LGBTQ+ artistry and culture.
Queer Night (Hosted by Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf) – A social gathering to bring the community together.
Emergency Training for LGBTQ+ Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Individuals – Focused on safety and preparedness.
ASL Drag Storytime for Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and KODA Children – A fun and inclusive family event.
These events aim to empower, uplift, and create meaningful connections within the Deaf LGBTQ+ community while ensuring full ASL accessibility.
