WorldPride Closing Concert & Ceremony

An extraordinary week deserves an epic closing ceremony! The final evening of the WorldPride celebrations will feature closing remarks, special performances, a look back at the previous week’s festivities using a photo and video show, and an interactive, large-scale art installation that will allow attendees of WorldPride to immortalize their experiences. The evening will conclude with the passing of the torch to the next host destination for WorldPride and include performances by international acts on our large state-of-the-art stage, in front of the United States Capitol Building.

Already one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the world, the Capital Pride Festival and Concert will extend to two days during WorldPride Weekend. Situated on over 100 acres of parkland in the heart of Washington, DC, the National Mall will provide an inspiring location for the hundreds of thousands of participants who will come together to enjoy a wide array of festivities. The Festival features hundreds of tented exhibitors including LGBTQ+ organizations, artisans, food and beverage gardens, and carnival style games. Also offered at no cost to participants will be multiple stages and dance parties, featuring multicultural and multi-lingual performances, local talent, and national headliners.

WorldPride Parade

Join us for a Parade on one of the most iconic avenues in the World. Spanning nearly 20 city blocks, the grand setting of Constitution Avenue will provide WorldPride DC 2025 Parade participants with an unparalleled backdrop, as we showcase our Pride to the world. Featuring ornate floats, celebrity marshals, and a vast array of groups representing the LGBTQ+ community, the WorldPride Parade in Washington, DC will arguably become the most beloved and memorable Parade to ever traverse through the United States Capital. The Parade route will be flanked by the National Mall, featuring awe-inspiring monuments, cultural institutions, and a colonnade of mature, shade providing trees.
