Freedom to Empower

International March on Washington + Rally

Human Rights icon of four hands

Decades of progress in protecting human rights are under a coordinated, systematic attack. Today the targets are gender, sexual orientation and race—but it won’t stop there. It’s happened before. It’s happening now. Our fundamental freedoms—and our very democracy—are at risk. And if we fail to recognize the urgency of this moment, we’ll only have ourselves to blame. Resist the marginalization and persecution of people just for being who they are.

Take action. Take a stand.

Join the fight against hate and be part of “The Fabric of Freedom” with thousands of community members, allies, and activists as we gather and march in the footsteps of the countless changemakers that came before us. The Rally will take place at the iconic steps of the Lincoln Memorial and will culminate with a march towards the US Capitol Building, ending with a global celebration at the WorldPride DC Street Festival and Closing Concert.

*Attendees are encouraged to bring signs/banners and to wear their pride. All ages are welcome, but individuals under 18 are required to have an adult chaperone.
