The Queer Music Summit at World Pride 2025 is a three day event series focused on uplifting and celebrating queer live music!
From bands to broadway to industry leaders, we’re excited to bring the LGBTQ music community together to perform, share knowledge and party!
Here’s a rundown of what’s in store:
June 2nd – Music in the Night
The summit kicks off with our welcome event, Music in the Night, a Broadway musical revue. Join us for an evening of song and theatrical performances connecting and fostering local talent in the National Capital Region’s theater community.
June 3rd – The Denim Ball
The second day of the summit features a talent packed showcase of queer bands called The Denim Ball.
Submissions are open for bands who want to join the bill. APPLY HERE!
June 4th – Bands & Brunch
The summit will wrap up with a music filled brunch featuring panel conversations, speakers and live performances.
2025 marks the 50th Anniversary of Pride celebrations in Washington, DC! The Capital Pride Alliance is excited for Washington, DC to host WorldPride 2025 and share this momentous and exciting milestone with our international community.
